any suggestions for 2-D and 3-D drawing/rendering programs for use on a MAC? ‘chief architect’ sounds like it’d be a good match for my needs, but i don’t think it works on the MAC platform…..

I use VectorWorks, which is cross platform with an emphasis on the Mac side. It's serious CAD.

IMSI TurboCad.....but you have to be a bit patient to get it running right.....
Good price @ Mac stores, if you have one near you...$100.00....which is cheap for a true cad program...
