Mike,
Just returned from the Blue Ridge Mts of NC. The twister was outside Dayton the nite before we crossed the river into Ohio (Portsmouth, mid state). Our campground didn’t see any of it as far as we could tell. With no service in the mts we heard about it on the drive up through Kentucky the next morning.
We’ve experienced some serious weather in the camper, but have no desire to be in that scenario.
The following morning on our drive up past Columbus we did have a shocking site cross the median at us and regain control.......
Don’t care to see that again. I’m sure the woman driving didn’t either. Don’t know exactly what caused her to go into the grass but she kept it together and regained her own roadway.
Thanks for the concern.
Florida.
You weren’t kidding on not missing the social media. Didn’t miss it so much I hit the spam button in your post instead of the Reply........
Poof.
My apologies, doesn’t happen often .......
Now, if you want to list the spam I missed I’ll be happy to go there and destroy them rather than plague you legit folks.
It missed me, but not by much, 15 tornadoes in my section of ohio on Memorial day. My coworker's son's house got leveled. He found his shed on the other side of the neighborhood, but the tractor must have fell out somewhere in flight. I could tell it was bad, the skies were totally lit up with lightning. I never want to be under one. They had to use snowplows on I-75 to clear debris off the road.
Last night super amount of lightning up here in NW Oh! Due to mountainous storm clouds, much louder thunder as well.
I suppose the way higher amount of total rainfall this yr means drought coming.
Wish moderation were the key. Flooded fields or nothing planted yet.
And oh yeah, watch for another algal bloom in Erie this summer......
Good to hear from you!
