Saw a framing, finish, and brad nailer kit at Costco for about $170.00. Any comments about this brand. Seems like a really good price, does not include a compressor. And Costco has satisfaction guarantee past manufacturers warranty, sort of a no brainer really.

Dopesn't sound like a really good deal. Check HD and Lowes ... they frequently have a PC or Bostich package that include two or three nailers/staplers, and a pancake compresor.

I've seen those Eddie but they never include a framing nailer, usually two finish and a brad or one finish and a brad.

Sorry, I missed that part. Ok, I saw a kit in Costco that had a bunch of air tools, including a framer, I think even a paint sprayer. If you plan to use this stuff solely as a DIY homeowner for very infrequent projects, it will probably do well. I would not attempt to make a living with those tools.

not to rain on your parade but CH is cheap crap
you know cag, that's what stopped me from buying it. sort a looked like power ranger toys. not sure how much i'd use it anyway, being a DIYer.
I have a framing nailer, finish nailer, roofing nailer and brad nailer all from Campbell Hausfield. I have had them for about 10 to 12 years.
And have really had no trouble with them. I did have to have the driver in the finish nailer repaired. I have used them on 5 house and apartment building projects as well as smaller things and they have been satisfactory. If I were making my living with them I would probably go with some other brand but for my occasional projects they are just fine.
Thanks for the feedback, maybe I'll take a chance. My use would be even less than yours so it might work out fine. Thanks.

My brother-in-law, a lead carp for my employer just tried it out. The framing nailer broke in the first five minutes of use.
Lucky for him he had three days left of the return policy.
I posted earlier the return policy for Costco. They will take it back no questions asked. They guarantee everything they sell for life, with exception of computers and other quickly changing technology like plasma tv's etc. Thanks for post.Kevin
