We moved into our new home at the end of January. The interior walls were all painted with a color called Covered Wagon, which is a shade of white. I did not use any color at the time of construction, because I wanted to live in the house a little bit 1st, and get a feel for things.
I am ready to start painting a few walls with something other than white. We have 10 gallons of covered wagon left over. Can I just purchase some pigment and mix my own?
I am guessing there are different types. (my paint is eggshell latex), but I am not sure where to start.
Has anyone done this?

I'm a big fan of tinting paint at home. Most paint suppliers (including Home Depot) sell paint tint. Great stuff.
You just have to become a master of mixology. mix mix mix stir shake mix
