Dropped my Senco 41 airless finish nailer off an 8-foot ladder. Now it will give an electronic ping but won’t cock and fire. Senco promises I can fix this in 15 minutes with a repair kit. I’m a fairly handy and persistent DIY nut, but I’m wondering if this repair will be as simple as claimed or if I should just take it to a shop. Thanks for any help.

I'd take it to the shop.
I have repaired and serviced many of my own guns and it is fairly simple...however, the last time I serviced my Paslode framer, it never worked the same. Took it in to the shop and they fixed it up right as rain.
Also, there may be some small or worn parts that they will fix while they have it apart. A sure bonus to prolong the life of the gun.
