can i put pressure treated boards on OSB

Hi all, I do not do much “building” so if this is a dumb question – sorry! I am building a 3 x6 ‘ storage shed to go on the side of my house . I have framed it with 2×4’s and have put OSB sheathing on the roof and sides. I want to have it match my deck so I was going to nail on 1x6x6 pressure treated boards over the OSB and then stain it next season to match my deck color. Is there any problems with covering osb with the 1x6x6 boards? thanks |

Yes,all of the osb will get wet when all the boards shrink and the water gets behind every single board. You're not planning on doing this to the roof, are you?
nope not the roof...
I posted this in the building section as weel and was told as long as I use a wrap like tyvek over the OSB I should be OK...
If you aren't going to lap the boards you should apply a rainshield product (not standard housewrap) and then use furring behind the boards. You could in theory lap the boards like regular lap siding, but you'd be better off with regular lap siding.
I answered this in the other thread that you started with the identical question.
