Can mahogany decking be left to weather?
Hello,
I am building a new deck. On the other side of the house is a 10 year old mahogany deck that is untreated. It has weathered to a gray and there does not appear to be any rot, splitting or cupping. Can I leave the new decking to do the same or is the old deck some fluke, and the new wood needs to be sealed? I am interested in a no maintenance material and do not care if the wood grays.
Thanks.

Mahogany will do just fine. No sealing necessary.
But be sure to space the deck boards. It swells greatly when wet.
