Just read the article on spray finishing in the most recent article of “fine homebuilding”. Looking for some advice on whether the sprayed latex wall finish will hold over the sprayed alkyd finish that has substantially overlapped crown moldings and trim. Naturally, putting latex over oil should always be avoided. Could anyone explain why this scenario is different?
