I`ve searched for over an hour and I can not find a web site in Canada for tool parts.
Yes I know there are many in the US, but….. I`am very tired of the surprises that come with an order from the US.
Broker fees, extra shipping costs cause it`s Canada, then there is the one I really love, after you find what you want, oh sorry we don`t ship to Canada.
You guys down south are soooo lucky! with the size of selection and low prices.
Just need some parts for a cordless drill, trigger is shot.
Thanx For the help

What brand? The Dewalt, B&D, Delta, Rockwell, PC line will ship anywhere in Canada from their service centers.
Scott.
Bosch Just tried again, I know there are out there somewhere, the service centers that is. The ones in Canada that is.
Ah yes but you've got single payer health care!
It does NOT cover the cost of stress related items like this.Big cut backs coming up with heath care here in BC. Yes it`s cheap to have an operation, if you live long enough to get through the waiting line.Or live close to a big city. The cost of this stress related deal is $23.00.....that`s what 1 doz cold bottles of beer cost up here. Boy you about got me going. LOL
Big debate, as you know, here in the lower 48 regarding Health Care. Those in favor tout the great things regarding your Canadian system but I'm convinced that many are confusing the cost of health care with quality of health care while forgetting about the availability of health care. Any single payer system is going to raise the possibility, rather the certainty, of rationing and someone somewhere is going to have to decide who gets what. Once adopted, if it is, US citizens will have to adapt to what they're given rather then their wish for the top-of-line options as they often do now. Sorry, can't help you with tool parts need.

Yes very big debate. Also one big difference,is we can not sue doctors, huge cost saving if you guys if you guys go that route. And like everyone else they screw up to.Friend just found out she`s preggy with twins, but she`s had her tubes tied for 2yrs. Oh well, 3 + 2 = 5, oh my,.....girls.
we can not sue doctors,
Since when?? I may sue a careless doctor who cripples me...but I may not sue a careless driver who does the same thing. Figure that one out....

Since, The College of Physicians and Surgeons of British Columbia have a neat little rule. One doctor can not bad month another, true or not in court. And if he does no more worky in this province. Also in BC if the guy who hits you while crossing the street does not have enough 3rd party insurance, you can sue him.Thing sure do change alot across this big country of ours, don`t they.Thanx for the link

The last time I checked, the College of Physicians and Surgeons did not make the laws in this country (and a good thing, too, or we'd all be paying 'user fees' on top of the high taxes that are supposed to cover health care).
But you're right. They stick together like cops, or lawyers, or judges, or insurance companies or.... Makes me wanna find an honest doctor who's about ready to retire and thus not too scared to blow the whistle on that little unwritten rule...and then we could sue the pants off the doctor's union.
I actually know such a doctor...but he's in Ontario. Sigh....
Good luck with your search for the trigger. I hope you have less trouble finding that than you would finding a doc willing to call a spade a friggin' shovel....

Yes,there is a Bosch Canada site, it`s not the same as the US site which you can order from, but they don`t ship to Canada. The Bosch Canada does not have a parts page, and it seems the Canadian Service Centers location is some kind of secret known only to those that work there.Seriously I have tried, yes google will kick up many hits, but go to them, that`s when the pita starts. There was a guy from here (Smithers)that had a web site called acetoolrepair but he moved away and has closed, same site name comes out of Kentucky now.And they don`t have what I want.Oh the Bosch US site does not have the trigger either.Yes I do want some cheese to go with all this whining. lol
My way of saying try it.

Cut50,
To avoid the brokerage fees, you should ask (insist) that the suppier ship the item using the USPS (united States Postal Service). They will not charge a brokerage fee like UPS and Purolator do. The borkerage fee is a big scam. They charge a fee to check if there will be duties on the shipment. With the free trade agreement, most of the time there are no duties to pay.
just order from tawain
Thanx Chucky will make note of that.Yes, the free trade agreement, always wonder who that was for.Free Top Soil!! trucking $120.00....lol. Local guy here does that.
They're in the UK but I've had good luck with these people shipping to BC:
http://www.powertoolspares.com/index.php
They ship by mail and no duties. 10 days the first order but a month the second since part was out of stock. Prices were pretty good. Parts were OEM.
