I have a client with a second floor porch with a roof over it. The original roofing on the porch floor was some type of canvas over t & g . The roof drains through a scupper through the kneewall. The canvas roof is done ( 60 yrs ). My experience has been to use a rubber membrane roof with a sleeper deck system above. The problem is the door sill is too low for this. Do they make a flat roof system suitable for residential furniture and foot traffic ? Or do they still do the canvas system ? Any advice would be helpful.

Yes - look at the Seal-o-Flex website. They have a membrane system suitable for foot traffic. Love the stuff
