I don't really understand where the dripping is. Does that mean water is coming out under the shingles on top of the I&WS? On all planes or in just one place? More info please.

I've never met a man that was owed as much as he thought he was.
It is dripping on all planes where the sun hits it, from under the shingles
Does this happen only for a day or two after a rain, or does it happen every day when sun hits it regardless of whether there has recently been rain or not?
If the former, it is functioning the way it should. If the latter, I am puzzled.

The shingles are newly instlled. It happens every day, we have not had rain forabout5 days. It seems to be a direct relationship to the roof heating up from the sun. I am thinking maybe it is the glossy face of the Grace is prducing condensation.I am ready to rip off shingles and start over with 30# felt like it says on the shigle instructions. those darn instructions
I've noticed some drips coming out of sidewall applications of cedar shingles before. I'm not an expert on it, but my interpretation was that it was just some of the excess moisture content in the shingles finding its way out. It went away after a number of months.
If the roof shingles on your house were very dry at the time of application, I don't think this would be a likely explanation, however.
There is no way that a glossy face on anything can cause condensation. The reason for the cedar breather is to provide a drainage plane for water to escape so the back sides of the shingles do not remain wet.So if the I&W was properly installed, the moisture cannot be coming from inside the house. It has to be from within the singles themselves. The heat of the sun is driving the moisture towards the cooler surface behind where it is draining out.Do you have a ridge vent in this roof?
What sort of insulation do you have inside?
Has the roof only been on for five days?

The roof has been on for about 10 days, there is no insulation in place yet. The roof dies into a wall so no ridge vent, there is lead at the top but no vent.
Give it time to dry out before you get all excited.

How long ago were the shingles installed? Also, how wet were the shingles when they were installed?

Sounds like condensation from the new shingles. My guess is eventually they'll dry out and you won't see any more dripping.
Just because the surface looks dry doesn't mean its not still real wet under the lapping shingles..
