Does anyone have a labor productivity rate that they use for installing cedar sidewall shingles? I’ve got a project coming up where I need to install 10 squares or so, on pretty cut up walls.
I did an addition for these same folks 6 years ago, and used shingles then as well. Problem is I didn’t track my time on it, and all I remember is that they took f…o…r…e…v…e…r.
Any help is appreciated.

books say 1 sq/ man/ day..
i've never got better than 1/2 sq/man/day .. including setup and clean-up
I think it is very dependent...Corners..woven? Or dead ended into trim? Bottom, flared? Or straight? All first floor or ladder scaffold work?
My recent house is here, and I am definatley not the speediest, it took me about a day to do a corner bottom to top, 5 feet either side, or so. Hopefully I will get faster, but it is very time consuming to do a flared corner.
