Few people understand it. Nobody agrees what it is, how to learn about it, or who's responsible for it. It has never been more important

Greetings dave,
This post, in response to your question, will bump the thread through the 'recent discussion' listing again which will increase it's viewing.
Perhaps it will catch someone's attention that can help you with advice.
Cheers
I have installed White Cedar, Red Cedar, pre-dipped or natural, all various grades, shingles and shakes.
I suspect that you need to study the info here -
http://www.cedarbureau.org/
See the links in center of page for install manual.
Or Is cedur a man made product or a simple mis-spelling?

I wondered when someone was going to mention the spelling.
Dave. You just got caught by Mr. Spell Check. LOL
Seriously, read the Cedar Bureau stuff and then come back.
This site also has search features. You can search cedar shingles and probably find hours worth of reading.
Rich
Ced-ur is the name of the product. Kind of a plastic lookin stuff.

Never mind.
I have never heard of it or worked with it.
When your thread appeared (a week ago) there were about 3 other thread titles that were misspelled.
Apparently noboy else has used the stuff. But the more I post to this thread the more exposure it gets. And then maybe you will get an answer.
Rich
thanks Rich

Come on guys. If you're Festing, it's time to pay up. $85.00? Half of you have already wasted that much on beer and p0rn this week already.
Now, I'm not suprised no one has ever heard of this product. Spoke to the rep today and it turns out that the 90 sq I have sitting on the site are among the first off the line. He says the install guideline are not even finished yet. I'll let you know how it goes!
Dave
gango
Whew!!
Glad to know that I am not totally out of the loop.

At that point I would be asking how much are the manufacturers paying me to install it and where is the warranty they will have to provide .
They can't get your Goat if you don't tell them where it is hidden.
