Does anyone know if there is a minimum ceiling height for medical offices? I’m bidding a office fit out for a basement of a professional office building, and the client wants to use it for more medical offices. I’m not sure they have the ceiling height, but cant find anything stating if there is actually a minimum.

Well the old and some newer codes required minimum ceiling heights for any habitable space. I believe that magic number was 7 ft and was commonly a reference for residential construction since that is where people most often ran into ceiling height issues ... e.g. finishing basements, attics, and other odd spaces. I'm thinking commercial had no additional requirements, but I may be wrong.
Yeah, certainly there's a minimum. But you need to check with the local Powers That Be to find out what it is, and all the exceptions and code addenda that may apply.
