HI : I still have not received any responses or suggestions Can anyone help me manage this problem???
Ceiling Panneling Problem:
Kiln dried, tongue & groved (T&G) red pine (6″x 1″) panneling was installed
(tightly) on the ceiling in March; in 42 rows from peak to eave. The spring
was wet and hot, humidity high and in June a number of rows (est 10-
15)fell off or buckled due to excessive expansion (the 2″ air driven
staples pulled right out). Do you have any suggested remedies other than
taking it all down and reinstalling without jacking the T&G tightly as
before? I am not thrilled with the concept of face nailing and filling
holes, but the ceiling is a cathedral with 11′ eaves to 22′ at the peak,
total width is 33 ft and length is 41 ft. Please respond as soon as you
can. Thank you.

Observation: With 11-foot eaves, no one is going to notice face nailing, if it's done with reasonable care. In fact, it might be worthwhile to have a small trial using trim screws, to see if they'd pull it tight without requiring removal.
Hindsight is 20/20, but them boards shoulda been allowed to acclimate on the jobsite and possibly sealed prior to installation. Also, I don`t like staples.
At this point, dry em out.....run the heat or AC or dehumidifier, somethin`....and get em sealed ASAP.
You may be lookin` at some face nailin` as well.

That could be because you are a new poster (Welcome to BT, by the by). New persons have a delay built into their posts for moderator review, to ensure that you rea A, not a troll; B, have posted i nthe correct folder; and C, have followed the rules.
You've gotten some answers (and reasonably good ones), now that you post has popped up where we can see it. Sometimes, a thread gets quiet due to the volume of other traffic, or because some of us are busy in the traffic "to me" <innocent as driven snow, I am>. Occasionally, one of us will see such a post and add a "bump" just to get it to the top of the list for visibility.
Since you are ".ca" I'm assuming that's Canada, n'est pas? It can help if you fill in your profile info. If you click on the "UPDATE PROFILE" in discrete Pantone Dark Grey at the top center of the page, that will let you fill in your own info, which can help us by letting us know your general location, background, expericence, & what not. You can also click on a screen name in blue to update your own profile, or to see someone else's, as well.
Now, I have a couple of questions about the ceiling. They shot the t&g on with 2" staples--into what? Was there a sub-ceiling? Is the finish ceiling just unbroken runs of t&g from one end to the other, or are there beams and/or trusses in place? If there are beams/trusses, does the t&g only run "between" or is it set in a rabbet or the like?
As a guess, you could probably reanail most of the "dropped out" material back in using a finish nail through the tongue until you got to the last one, and face nail that one. Which ought to be high enough to not notice much.
Hope that helps.
