I’d like to add some addditonal insulation to my attic. It presently has about 6 inches of blown in fiberglass insulation (Insulsafe) which was installed 15 years ago by a contractor. Can I blow another 6 inches of cellulose over top of this? Are there any problems with blowing in cellulose over top of blown in fiberglass?
I would appreciate any advice you all can provide.

Do it immediately. I added about 2' on top of blown fiberglass. It's easy and quick and the rewards are immediate.
