Greetings:
I need to have my boiler replaced in my utility room (concrete slab with old 12×12 linoleum tiles). What would be the best way to proceed with this boiler installation with this future tile job in mind? If I try to put some “coasters” under the legs, it may end up too high or too low compared to the height of a tile and they will either have to force the tile underneath or there will be a gap. Should I just proceed with the boiler job and have the tile guy insert the tiles as far as he can under the boiler? The leg height is a full 1 5/8″ so he should be able to at least insert partial tiles underneath if not cover the entire bottom. I know he will have to cut “grooves” or pieces with hemicircles but I imagine it’s been done before.
Any comments on this would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
