I removed the wallpaper from our small bathroom in preparation for replacing it with high-end ceramic tile. Do I have to get all the fine brown paper from the back of the wallpaper off the wall before putting the tile on the wall? I have already removed all the LOOSE brown paper, but want to know if I have to do the DIF enzyme trick to remove the rest of the brown tissue-like paper (and the paste) before I put up the tile. BTW, this source has been wonderful for this do-it-yourselfer in guiding me through my knowledge gaps. THANKS!

I would definately get the rest of the stuff off the wall. problem is that it is water-soluble adhesive, so if you don't take it off now, should it ever get wet then the tile could fall off, with the thinset firmly attached to the back of the tile. You might not need Dif, although I have used it and it works well. Yiou might be able to get the goop off with plenty of water and a sponge.
