Help! We are doing the prep work needed to doa tile job in our entry, dining and kitchen. There was previously berber carpet glued down. We have managed to get the capet out. Yeah! But we are experienceing problems with the old glue. We bought this stuff that softens the glue, it would take forever to remove the glue with this method. We have almost 700 sq ft. So I rented a machine to remove the glue, it has a blade. It is doing an OK job, however it is not removing entirely alllll the glue my question is : Is that OK? Is is OK that there is still a residue of glue before we do the tile job we want to make sure the tile will adhere with no future surprises.
