There seems to be quite a disparity in cost between these two companies similiar fiberglass insulating products.
Anyone have +/- ‘s about either?
Thanks

Oh what the hey...

Certainteed is "GreenGuard certified for indoor air quality. JM is "formaldehyde free" both are legitimate indoor air quality designations. I'd go with which ever is cheaper in your location.
Or better yet upgrade to spray foam, either Demelak or, if your feeling like going for the really good stuff, Icenene. I'd at least get a quote on the Demelak before committing to fiberglass.

thanks for the input and the bump rez
I would love to go with one of the spray products but in my hood its just too pricey right now.
there is literally no competition.
I went with certainteed. from some other research it seemed that many of the industries they are involved with folks have been pleased with their products. plus it was much cheaper than JM.
I went with r-15 paperless for the 3.5" stud bays.
I am going with closed cell foam in the ceilings however (down here I really need the best I can get)
thanks again everyone-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
