Hello,
I am planning a frame and panel wainscot for the playroom, and want to use chalkboards for the panel portion.
Where do you go for chalkboard material that comes in sheets?
Thanks
David

There are a number of ways to achieve a level foundation and mudsill.

I would use mdf panels and paint them with chaulkboard paint.
real chalkboard is slat.... they were tearing down an old school... huge 6 x 18ft slate chalkboards... wish i had gotten som... my brother did... the backside wasn't polished like the front... he covered a huge frieplace wall in his house with it... (was white 1960's brick)
but now most chalkboard comes in a can... and you just paint it on..

When you spray it spray it laying flat (the sheet not you <grin>) it works best with heavy coats but they tend to run, hense the spraying it flat bit..
I wasn't aware that it needed to be sprayed. Is rolling a bad idea? I have a cup gun and an airless. Does it matter which I use?
I've seen the stuff in the store before, and hesitated to buy it, cause it looked gimmicky. If all ya'll have good experiences with it, then that's what I'll do.
Thanks to all.
