Changing Temperature on Oil Heater
I have an Oil Heater that I need to drop the temperature on, but I’m not sure how to do it. Right now the Thermostat is reading 170 Degrees which is way too hot. Any Idea, How to change the temp? I can’t seem to find the right place to do it.

You need to give a hot more details.
What kind of "heater" is this. Water heater, wall furnace, force air furnace, boiler?
Brand and model would help.
"Thermostat is reading 170 Degrees which is way too hot"
The thermoSTAT is what controls the temperature. There should be an adjustment on it.
Or are you talking about thermometer? A thermometer only indicates temperature.

A-holes. Hey every group has to have one. And I have been elected to be the one. I should make that my tagline.
A good HVAC guy can install a variable thermostat that changes as the outside temperature changes. Colder outside it goes up warmer outside it goes down. Saves fuel.
