Prefabricated granite tops from China are becoming more available, at least here on the West Coast. The price is quite good, but this makes me want to ask if anyone has had any problems with this stuff.
Thanks.

There's a constant source of clean water for you to use, and all you have to do is collect it.

Most of the problems with granite are in the stone itself- not in the fabrication. A lot of the stones sold and fabbed here come from China, so it's essentially the same material. What you need to avoid is some of the more fractured granites (Uba Tuba is one that comes to mind)- if you stay with colors without heavy veining and fractures, the place of fabrication should have little effect.
