Source control, ventilation, and filtration are the keys to healthy indoor air quality. Dehumidification is important too.

Do you know the manufacturer?
You can call them, and they'll give you the name of someone to repair the tub.
I found that out the hard way, too. Except I dropped a piece of tile. LOL
Never done a tub, but have done boats. It should be pretty similar. The only hard part is matching the gel coat.
Other than that, you just:
sand a little bit around the chip with some 200 grit;
Spread the gel coat into the chip, and surrounding area with a plastic spreader;
cover with shrink wrap, and then press lightly on that with a sponge. The idea is to get a smooth surface.
When the gel coat hardens, then wet sand with 400-grit, and buff it out.

Yea - call a tub repair guy. I've got one who would probably charge $50 for that... about 20 minutes....
50.00 bucks, 20 minutes beautiful. thanks
Yea - they come out with a kit of 10 different whites and can mix to match on site too. All kinds of nasty smelling chemicals, and other mysterious stuff etc. A magic wand too. Hardly ever had a repair that could be seen. Your price may vary - the guy I use I give several a year - my subs keep him in business.
