What is the best way to remove the center of a circular saw blade so that it will fit a diamond arbor? I used some needle nose pliers on a new blade yesterday but wasn’t sure if that was the best way to go about it. I have always used a sidewinder but I recently switched to a worm when my hand-me-down Skil (blade right) gave up the ghost. Thanks.

i like to set it on a solid piece of lumber and drive the diamond out with a nail punch
Same thought: 2 x 2by scraps, knock-out over the space between the scraps, tap out with a small cold chisel..

I just stab it with my index finger. I wind up, do a little Bruce Lee Kee-hah and pling it across the room. Keep your eyes open though they tough to find if you hit em to hard.
