Do you _really have to test this on a live server? You don't have a test server that mirrors the site's overall configuration?
See that is why plumbers cut floor joists.
-mark
No, we cut them because the carpenters put them in the way of our pipes.
They tested on three servers
First on the development server.
Then on the stage server
Finally they tested on the live server to make sure all of the 'parts' transferred over.
Gina was going to delete all of the test posts, but you all began responding to them. So we left this one up.
Gina??????!!!!!!
I thought it was EvaMarie!
You have a whole harem of techies there Dan?
I see there's something fishy in denmark, eva
I came back to the post because there was a NEW notice showing. Your picture in the first post was there, the one I added to my post was not-just the box with the red X
. So, went and edited another embedded picture (the same) and now I've got two in the post. Downside, yours went the box and red x route.
EDIT: and now there's no auto paragraph and at first, until I went to Preview, there was no post to edit. I have a feeling the whole thing is going to blow. Take cover, Eva.
I haven't smelled this fishy since I worked in a cannery...
I deleted a few of Eva's 'test' posts -- while viewing the forum in Flat mode -- and many of the comments here went away along with them. In flat mode it is impossible to see which comments go with which.
Yes, I are an idiot.
I am sorry for (at least) two things:
I deleted some posts by mistake
that I am an idiot
I am now safely back in Threaded mode, so my stupidity ought to be masked to some extent.
But perhaps there is a silver lining: Because we are still in the process of rolling out improvements, it would be smart to confine comments about all of this stuff to a single thread in the Forum Suggestions folder, which will be easier for the developer to follow. I will create that thread shortly.
Thank you for your patience,
Dan
OK Dan

No hurry - it's only been 2-1/2 years now
but thanks
