“It so happens that everything that is stupid is not unconstitutional.” —Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia
The page you put up doesn't say or imply that there is anything wrong with the tubing in question. It simply states that the plaintiffs allege there is a fire danger, yet they present no actual cases or fires caused by the tubing.
Actually, on consideraton, I don't really understand why you even posted the message in the first place. What is it you want us to know?
I searched about 12 pages of yahoo links, couldn't find an actual case, just hearsay & possible dangers.

This is a notice required by the court to all potential claimants belonging to a class. The notice is of the settlement of the class action. It is not a document that is meant to "prove" anything.
Like all lawsuits, it is commenced by a summons and complaint. The complaint states allegations that set forth a cause of action (usually multiple causes of action) including allegations of specific instances where the claimed danger happened. The defendant(s) then submit an "answer" admitting or denying specific allegations. In a class action, the plaintiff must then obtain class certification from the court, showing that the individual plaintiff is representative of the class and that it meets the criteria for a class action, such as numerosity (too many unidentifiable claimants to require that each one be individually named and joined as a plaintiff).
The lawsuit then moves into the "discovery" phase where both sides make discovery requests of the other through the mechanisms of interrogatories (written answers to written questions under oath), document requests and depositions (oral answers to oral questions under oath).
As this procedure happens over a period of months or years, there will normally be settlement discussions. These are voluntary discussions between the parties in an effort to resolve the lawsuit. Sometimes, the court will be involved, or have someone on its behalf become involved, to facilitate settlement. Eventually, the parties will either reach a voluntary resolution or the case will go to trial. In class actions, the rules require that all potential individual claimants (anyone who may have been injured by the underlying item) be given notice of the settlement, together with the options of doing nothing (and thus accepting it), opposing it or opting out of it.
The document on the link was just the notice to potential claimants of the settlement. This is a normal thing, and isn't intended to answer all questions. If you want additional information about the underlying facts or proof, contact the lead counsel for the class and request it. Not every document in the world is on the internet, nor are they required to be. But don't b!tch because your looking at one document but it's not the one that has the answers you would like to see. If you want answers, look at the document that has the answers.
