Several years ago there was an article in FHB about an architect in Hawaii who designed a house for his daughter who was in Alaska, and the home was built in Portland. It was a 2-bedroom, with detached 1-car garage. The architect posted the story on his web page, and I’ve lost that web address. Does anyone remember it? Or the issue the article was in?
Thanks,

Andy-
I know the house you're talking about- tan siding, nice layout, wide front porch- but damned if I can find the issue!!!! I actually thought about building similar, but with baby #2 on the way, it'd be just a wee tight maybe......

I do like that and to tell you the truth I would love to get an opportunity to do a small project like that.
It says in the article that "Tour this house on our web site at FinehomeBuilding.com" but I didn't find that tour so maybe since it was from the Summer of 2001 it no longer here??? Or maybe I just haven't found it yet???
