I’m building a detached garage, with a 7″ curb around the slab. Because of how the lot is graded, the walk-in door sills have to be at curb height. Does the 36″x36″ minimum landing size apply, of can I put a narrower step inside the garage? A three foot deep landing might get under foot once I’m working in the garage.
