Hi everyone. My question is I would like to construct a coffered ceiling in my walkout basement, however, I am looking for some reference guide as to its construction. Thanks for your suggestions.

Do a search through the back issue of FHB, there have been a few articles in the past few years. Also, try doing an advanced search through JLC, http://www.jlconline.com/cgi-bin/jlconline.storefront
You could also pick up Gary Katz's trim book from your library. http://www.garymkatz.com/Publications-T1.htm

JLC had a nice article about 2 yrs ago, how to build it with pre-fab boxes. I sort-of followed the article, and it was not difficult.

You trying to run up your message count to match Piffin? Seriously, one post with a thanks to all who posted is sufficient.
