Hey Guys,
Getting back into the business I love after a 10 year corporate stint (and out of it thank god), and need some tool advice.
I have had my trusty Makita 10″ miter saw that has served me well for probably 20 years, but I am now looking at going with a sliding combo style. I like Makita, but can’t decide between the 10″, which seems would be great for general purpose small framing and finish work, or going for broke with the 12″ monster.
Any tips, thoughts, suggestions??
Thanks!

too much blade deflection and wabble on the 12 inch for any slider... if you can live with a bit less length the 10 is superior for tight work.
