I have been asked to replace the faucets for the basin in the restrooms in an Executive Suite*.
Is there any reasons not to use basic $70-100 Delta, Moen, Kolher units.
* An executive suite consists of individual offices that are rented out to individuals, and they provide common phone answering service, mail, coppying, and confernce room. Often used by people like manufactures reps and insurace saleman.
This is not a high usage or hard usage area like a school or hotel conference area.

We've used similar units in rest rooms in office areas with no trouble. I like the two handled facucets much better than the single handled ones. Lever handles are easier for people with hands that are sore or less-abled. It's also nice to have a spout that comes up six or eight inches in a gooseneck. This allows filling coffee pots, water jugs, and so forth.
I'd stay away from the $40 bottom-end faucets.
I've had fairly good luck with the American Standard Cadet line, either single or double handled. If they don't leak or drip in the first day or so, they'll probably last for a long time. When choosing a faucet, look for the water connection to be part of the mounting system which is very rugged. I've had problems with all makes and price ranges when the hose is attached by a malleable copper tube into the faucet. They tend to spring a leak if you look at them the wrong way during installation. Good luck.

Ron.
Our plumbers standard faucet is the delta 520

Uses it in hotels and apartment complexes, I know he wouldn't use it if he didn't believe it to be durable enough to stand up to the use for what ever thats worth
I'll second that about American Standard Cadet. Have used them on several occaisons in the past few years with no problems.
Thanks.
