Does anyone know of a manufacturer of composite 1x V-groove T&G boards? 1×4 fir has become so outrageously expensive, and the quality drops more each year. It all gets painted anyway. The new composite deck materials are great for open decks, but how about something for covered porches and porch ceilings?

Look for Tendura planking.
Its a composite t&g flooring that sounds just like you want. I installed it on my own front porch 3 years ago , still haven't painted it, and it looks like new.
Its pricey. I think it was somewhere around $2.25/lineal foot. But I expect it will far outlast the alternatives currently available.
