You didn’t say how involved you wanted to get in the way of software. I just purchased the latest version of ArchiCAD and the Artlantis rendering package to go with it. ArchiCAD is a parametric modeling program where you build the house, or just the element, in the computer. With Artlantis you can go in and change all of the colors and shadings to see what it looks like. The software is great. I have not mastered it yet, and, I have seen several people do amazing things with it in a very short time.

I'm looking for a software program that will allow us to display facade color options (siding, trim, shutters, etc.). I don't know if Dean Johnson or Bob Villa had it, but it's out there.
*What? Heretic! Your architects will have the water-colorists union after you.
*I think the software is called Paint Shop Pro. It's supposed to be in a 99 issue of JLC.
