The floor buffer did not work, got down to 20 grit and still will not remove marks( feet print) Any ideas? What about grinding? Anybody here in business of floor staining? What do they do with a minor mark?

Try http://www.sundek.com a good friend has a franchise here, and has done work around my place as an experiment, and to show off his products for my home customers.
*I used a wood floor drum sander once to work on a rough floor. Might work for you.I'm assuming not too much of a depression.John
