I have a slab floor, dyed black at time of the pour. The power trowel work
is ok, but by no means perfect. I would like to know how to finish the floor. It has been down for 6 months now. I would not mind a semigloss waxed kind of look, at the moment is is a little chalky. How should I seal and maintain the floor (it has infloor heat)
Thanks
Alan

Alan,
Just a good quality epoxy paint over a proper primer will give you a very long lasting surface.
Good luck.
Phil
*Do you mean seal it so that the existing color remains and is just brightened up? If so, call your local concrete supply and they will undoubtedly have a number of concrete sealers that will do the trick. I've seen some that are as shiny as wet, all the time and good for exterior applications.Pete
