I am thinking about building a 2 story + basement house for myself using the stay in place insulating concrete forms. All of the exterior walls would be built with concrete and the interior would be standard wood construction. What’s your opinion – is this a good idea or a bad idea? Has anyone out there used them? Anyone live in one of these houses? Does anyone live in one and wish that you didn’t? What’s the downside? My top two choices, so far, are the Polysteel and Eco-block systems.
