Recently, I have been working on repairs on a parking lot, sidewalks and a couple of driveways. Our Contractor who repaired and sealcoated the paved portion of the parking lot told me that he does not sealcoat concrete (sidewalks, dumpsters and access areas as well as driveways). He told me that they tried it once and found the treated surface very slippery so they power washed the treatment and do not offer it any more.
I did some reading on the topic and tried two different treatments, one from V-Seal and another one from Eco-Wares. I am still not sure which is the best concrete seal coating in my application. I am looking for comments, experience and recommendation for a concrete sealcoating product or product type.

Go to a concrete or block plant and see what they offer. Don't mess around with the stuff in the hardware stores.
What you want is a solvent based (very stinky and volatile) sealer not a water based sealer. There are many good brands on the market.
