Had a call from a guy that has a pole barn( that somebody else built) that seems to have an awful lot of condensation on the inside of the metal roof. Everything is finished and insulated( cieling is insulated, attic is not) Anyway the condensation is making its way to the drywall and causing stains. He would like me to give the attic more ventilation to fix the problem.
Will this fix the problem? The gable vents are really small and he has no soffit/ ridge vents. All help will be appreciated. Thanks.

Simple answer, YES! You can never have too much ventilation.
With no soffit and a metal roof your gonna want to vent thru the gable ends. Maybe with bigger vents and an electric gable vent fan.
Thanks for the help. I was thinking ventilation but wanted a 2nd opinion before I start cutting holes in his gables.Greg
