Hello all,
Recently I have been considering getting into the condo development business. Specifically I have been considering projects consisting of the redevelopment of existing structures into residential condos. I live and work in the Dayton Ohio area, which has a downtown area that is experiencing a slow but steady resurgance. A year or so ago I recall a project being discussed here that involved the renovation of a school located in Michigan into condos. Does anyone remember who was working on that project? I would like to converse with anyone who has been down this road.
Thanks,
Matt

I've been working on a condo conversion project - it was a great project, until the bottom fell out of the sub-prime market. Now its a dog. Still going, tho' - every once in awhile another one sells. Its not my project, 'tho, I'm just the contractor.

Not sure if your still working on your conversion project or not but there are a number of outfits that can provide "project management services". I know of a good company if your still in the market to enlist assistance.
I am the superintendent on three condo conversion projects in Washington. How may I help?
blueeyeddevil was doing the school conversion. Have not seen him here in a while.
