Anybody want to give a recommendation for a good quality corded screwgun for attaching coated screws to mainly PT Decks. I hate to use my makita impact gun in that kind of production mode…
Thanks,
Dave

Very generous of you .... if it's a drywall gun won't it spin too fast though?Dave
It is variable speed, and under load it should be fine. I THINK it has a speed control wheel on the trigger. Lemme dig it out and see..I have not used it in yrs. Spheramid Enterprises Architectural Woodworks

I tried usinf my Milwaukee 4,000 RPM drywall screw gun on subfloor screws, and it just twisted 'em off. Couldn't get it to slow down enough, even though it's variable speed.
They make a similar "remodeling gun" that's 2,500 RPMs which should work well for what you're doing.
