As I was laminating some partition walls today (commercial setting, not ‘homebuilding’ per se, but anyway) it came to me: Why does no manufacturer make a battery operated laminate router. Seems the battery insert design would be easy, right on top of the motor. Maybe current batteries wouldn’t be up to the RPM’s required? Or they think the added length would make the tool unwieldy? Any thoughts on this?
