Thinking about purchasinga battery-operated (no gas) trim nailer for quick jobs. I love senco stuff but it seems they are not that durable.
Anyone use one?
Any other brands worth looking into?

Read the "Finish Nailers" chat going on.
I like the new DeWalt 18V, although it is a bit pricey. Some say it is heavy. If you don't mind T-head nails, I would recommend it. If you buy it at Lowe's today, you can still take advantage of the 20% discount, which would bring the price down to $320.

earl,
I have tried the Senco and was very dissapointed with it. I t has a 1 second delay after pulling the trigger.....real annoying, and it only shot a nail about 1 out of 8 times. I owned one and returned it to the lumber yard where I purchased it. They put it into thier rental dept. for about a week.................then they sent it back too for the reasons mentioned. I own the Dewalt 18 volt nailer and have been very happy with it. I am told that they will soon be coming out with a pin nailer too. As I mentioned in the "Tools and techniques" thread, I haver to use these guns every day and I really like the fact that the same battery fits all my other cordless tools.
Good luck,
