i live in ireland and in a climate that never see’s more than 80 F in the summer and below 20 F in the winter with very little humidity problems.
we also have no code to follow for crawl space techniques.
what in your experience would be the best way to insulate and ventilate/seal or whatever?
i have been reading a lot of post’s about this lately and am now more confused!
help is much appreciated!!

There's a lot to consider when it comes to insulating and ventilating your home, and there's no one-size-fits-all answer. That said, the best way to insulate and ventilate your home will depend on a number of factors, including the type of home you have, the climate you live in, and your personal preferences.
One option is to use a chimney balloon. These are inflatable devices that sealing off your chimney when it's not in use, preventing heat loss. They're relatively inexpensive and easy to install, and they can be a great way to improve the energy efficiency of your home.
I would personally recommend to talk to Chimney Choice from SHL Distributors. They have a extensive collection of chimney solution and accessories.
