One of my first employers is the father of my girlfriend now... I don't know if it would be good to work for him now, though.

*A GC I subbed to gave me $500 when I bought my new truck. Very nice of him, but as it was unexpected it wasn't exactly an incentive, and then he told everyone how he "helped me buy my truck." Still, it was nice of him. And then there's the painting contractor I know who's workers often get a little bit of green...not cash, though. Seems to keep them happy. And mellow.MM
