Anyone out there have the formula for the correct settings on a compound miter saw for cutting angles on a corner that is something other than 90? I have a job coming up that has a 50 degree outside corner. I used to have the formula needed to figure the platter and head settings but can’t find it. Would appreciate it much if somone can help me out. If not, I’ll have to go back to holding the piece on the angle and setting the platter to 25 degrees. Thanks, Dave

Mongo kindly scanned in the answer when I asked the same Q. Try < Obsolete Link > here in the archives. I like Delta's table better, and hey I have a Delta saw so maybe it works better for me. :)
Folks, we're going to run out of stuff to talk about at some point that's not in the archives. Sean will be relieved, he'll just delete us all....
*Dave If you have access to back issuses of FHB check out July 91.
