I recently read an article in fine homebuilding about how to install crown molding on a sloped ceiling and how to make the transition from sloped to flat ceiling meet. Now I can’t find that article. Does anyone remember what issue that was in.
Thanks for any help.

Thanks ikor, that is great help.
By far the best info on this subject. 1. Buy & read the book Crown Molding & Trim.
By Wayne Drake. 2. Buy a few of the "True Angle Tools" Adjustable 360 protractors.( I have the 7",12", 18" & 24") . Buy at least the 18" True Angle. The book is $20.00 & I think I have about $75 into the True Angles.
My speed & accuracy is up about 1000% since I spent the time to read the book. I can also run crown on bullnose corners & make it look A+. I used to never do Crown on any Cathedral or Vaulted ceilings( had more wrong cuts then right) Now they call me the "Crown Master"
The web site is http://www.compoundmiter.com
If you do a lot of Crown, the book will pay for itself in 1 job
