A while back I had a little plane that made a curl you’ld drive a finish nail under then dab a little glue on and weight it down. It was relatively invisible if you prestained the wood and of course now that I need it I can’t find it…has anyone one seen this out there?

I think that Lee Valley has it.
Check their online catalog.
I think Woodcraft carries it as well. Chek out their catalogue.
Thanks for the help, I recently discovered as I was recycling a pile of stuff from the back porch that my spousal unit "censors" a few catalogs that may or may not effect the balance in the checkbook. I just thought I was off their mailing lists and here was woodworker's supply, duluth trading post, tool crib, and several other non-trade related fetishes[patagonia, colorado cyclist....] Many bathtub hours of visual stimulation. [this is officially spousal unit no.2, the well broken in no.1 was a cancer victim, boo] We are going to have the big talk about what is sacred...
Lol, I go through the same thing. I have a little compartment under our captains bed just for the catalogues. I'm very good about throwing them out, so long as I have a newer one replacing it.
I've seen those... Garrett Wade used to carry them. From their website it appears they don't. They used to (1980s) have an amazing selection of woodworking tools, and now appear to have 'dumbed down' for a larger market... lots of trinkets and knick-knack items. Has anyone replaced them as the source of fine tools?
