Anyone tried one of these blades yet?
I just saw one at the tool supply place I use. They had cuts of plywood, oak, Trex, cement backer board and Hardi siding laying out. all of them looked pretty good.

There are a number of ways to achieve a level foundation and mudsill.

Ironically, I have one of those blades. I bought it a month ago for a semi-round deck I was working on. I used a jig saw instead, so I never got to use it.

Spectacular work site, is the decking IPE?
Trex Contour.

Without a doubt some of the most curved decking I've had to muscle into place. I usually use LP Weatherbest composite, but the yard sold me on this stuff for this deck. It is lighter, which made hauling the 16 footers up by rope easier.

Nice work !
I looked at the blade, but don't have any use for one right now. The sample cuts they had on the counter looked real good. As good as any straight cuts with a high quality blade on a circular saw and approaching table saw quality.
I think the blade and T square/compass compo pact was $49. Not a bad price if it works as advertized.
Looks handy. What store did you see that in?

You can order it directly from their sitehttp://www.arcusblade.com/arcus_order.htmlOr you could just drive over to HQ, since they are next door:Arcus Inc.PO Box 991548Louisville, KY 40269-1548Phone 502-495-2959'Man who say it cannot be done should not interrupt man doing it' ~ Chinese proverb
DOH! I didn't even look at that. I was mainly trying to find out if Dave had a cool tool store in the area that I didn't know about yet.

Wow.
Who knew there was a magazine called Renovating Woman?
Not sure if I will ever get it right, but I will continue to roll that marble around my pea-brain until I figure it out.
Bargin Supply Tools. downtown Louisville on east Jeffeson St.. Same general area as Plumber Supply and Boland Maloney Lumber over on Main St.
Not sure if that was a "good" price or not. They will dicker with you a little on larger ticket items, but I have never quibbled with then on small purchase items.
Yep I know the place. Good selection.

I've got the blade for the blade left saw. They make one for blade right and blade left.
With mine (blade left) you need to start cutting from the right and go counter clockwise. It works really well.
Here are some pictures of some 2x12 I cut last summer. Can't remember the radius. http://picasaweb.google.com/TimothyUhler/Lot36Muirkirk02/photo#5122088834273228786
I've got two and they work great.
