Has anyone had any experience with curved window casing? I recently ordered some from my local lumberyard. It was for a 32″ radius half-round window . It arrived in 3 pieces and was fingerjointed. The curve was off slightly and we had to cut the pieces again to get them to fit.I ordered trim for 3 curved windows, and was shocked at the bill.$350 plus tax.The trim was made from white pine and was fingerjointed.Straight trim like this is usually only around 35 cents a foot.Is there a source for this trim less expensive? We were recently quoted a price of 27 dollars per foot for similar trim for another job.I live in southwest Arkansas, are these prices comparable to other parts of the country ?
